We are big fans of using dry shampoo in between washes to keep hair looking fresh & non-oily.
Dry Shampoos are great for traveling, and are also handy to keep in your purse for quick touch ups during the day!
Though we do love dry shampoos, (Batiste and Stila are our favorites) they get pretty pricey.
This is a great natural, simple, homemade recipe for dry shampoo!
For Brunettes: In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of cocoa powder and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. You can also add a few drops of an essential oil of your choice to give it a different scent.
I prefer to leave it as is – it has a really lovely chocolate scent!
For light hair: Combine 1/2 cup of corn starch and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. You could just use corn starch on it’s own, but if you are worried about the scent, the baking soda helps to absorb it and makes this formula scent-free. Add a few drops of an essential oil of your choice to give it a different scent!
