Last week my mom and I had the honour of attending the London Drugs Beauty Event. The #LDBeauty event showcases all of the exciting current & upcoming releases in beauty available at London Drugs Cosmetics. It is truly thee event of the year in Vancouver.
We had the opportunity to learn about & test some amazing products. Stay tuned for more reviews on our top picks in the next few weeks! The first product that we are reviewing from the event is one of my (Natasha) favourites, Jergens New Moisturizer For Wet Skin.
My Grandma, Mom and I have used Jergens products for years and are huge body lotion lovers so I was very excited to try out their new moisturizer. There has been a lot of hype around wet skin moisturizers as of late and they seem to be all the rage. I have never tried one previously so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was a little worried it might be a hot, slippery mess. However I couldn’t be more wrong! It is the complete opposite – Completely moisturizing & non-greasy.
I’ll be honest, I don’t have the softest legs in the world. My mom and Grandma on the other hand have the smoothest, most baby-soft legs ever. Total leg-envy. No matter what lotion I put on after shaving, my legs never really feel THAT soft. Believe me, I’ve tried many different lotions through the years. From higher-end expensive creams to drugstore brands. I’ve kind of just accepted that I have semi-soft legs and that’s that. 😉
No lotion has given me results like Jergens New Moisturizer For Wet Skin has. I am so incredibly excited about it! I have been using it after showering for a week now and my legs feel noticeably hydrated, moisturized and smoother! My mom and I were actually shocked at the result and agree that it is truly a great product and worth repurchasing. When Jergens releases it in stores this July, I will be the first in line and plan on stocking up on this heavenly cream.
How It Works: Apply the moisturizer right after your shower before drying off. Than just pat dry with your towel and you’re good to go! No-rinsing required.
Jergens Moisturizer for Wet Skin includes a propriety formula that binds hydrating oils to water to help lotion instantly absorb and lock in moisture without leaving a heavy feel or greasy residue. High levels of glycerin and oils work to trap in the moisture from the shower, leaving your skin soft and 2x more luminous.
This moisturizer is especially great for those busy early mornings since you don’t have to wait for the lotion to dry before dressing.
Available in 2 variants – Green Tea Oil (pictured above) which is known for its antioxidants and natural softening properties. As well as Coconut Oil – known for refreshing and softening properties. I tried the Coconut Oil Moisturizer at the LDBeauty event and it was just as lovely as the Green Tea Oil. The smell is delicioussss! If you are a big coconut fan, you are definitely not going to want to miss out on that one.
Where To Buy:
Jergens Moisturizer For Wet Skin retails for $10.99 Cdn (500ml) and will be available at London Drugs in JULY 2015.
