Essence Cosmetics’ The Gel Nail Polish is definitely a star product. We decided to test them out right after their launch a few years ago and we haven’t looked back. We have used numerous high end nail polish brands and Essence is honestly just as good or in many cases better then many of them. The pigments are beautiful, the consistency is perfect, the shine is spectacular and best of all, the wearability is amazing. Considering these polishes are not expensive (only $2.99/Cdn each), you can afford to treat yourself to multiple colours! We truly love, love, love these polishes and highly recommend them.

The brush is the perfect size which allows for quick and easy application. Two strokes and the nail is covered.
With a base coat, 1-2 colour coats and then finishing with their gel top coat, your manicure lasts for a good week. We were both shocked at how long the Essence gel polish lasts without even chipping! It’s stunningly shiny, and looks like you just got them professionally done at the salon!

To be honest these Essence polishes would be on our ‘favourites’ list every single month!

Clarins Instant Concealer provides a medium coverage, is light weight, applies easily and smoothly. It is especially great for under eye coverage because of it’s light blurring pigments which help cover dark circles. It also contains caffeine and aloe vera to help reduce any puffiness. The formula doesn’t crease or go on cakey and we find that it wears through the whole day very nicely.

For those days that I need a little extra help around the eyes,  I like to dab a small amount under my eyes on top of my makeup. It just adds that extra bit of coverage and smoothness.

The Wonder Perfect Mascara is the mascara that claims to do it all… volume, length and curl your lashes. With both of us being mascara snobs, junkies, very picky, when it comes to mascara, we both actually really like this one. It really does what it says it’s supposed to do. We both tend to prefer mascaras that are very volumizing and this definitely does do that plus more.

This has been my (Natasha’s) go-to fragrance since it was first released in 2011. Yes, it’s a Justin Bieber fragrance and I absolutely LOVE it. I have tried MANY (hundreds) of different perfumes over the years and have never liked any of them. My skin just does not agree with fragrances and I always end up smelling strange. I tend to stick to body butters and creams. That is until I found Someday. It is the only fragrance that I have worn that I have ever received compliments on when wearing. It’s a very light, sweet scent. Not overpowering and perfect for everyday wear. If you have not tried this fragrance just because it’s a ‘celeb’ fragrance, I would highly recommend giving it a test! It may surprise you…
